Lamborghini Expands Target Market
The exotic sports car manufacturer, Lamborghini, is expanding their target market. Earlier this month Lamborghini unveiled their new concept SUV! This is the first time Lamborghini is exploring automotive platforms other than exotic sports cars concepts. The new SUV will be called the Urus and you can expect to see it on the roads within five years as long as everything is improved. This is a huge leap for a relatively small company. It will be very interesting to see how it works and if similar companies like Ferrari follow suit with their own SUV concepts. Although there are no price specs available you can expect the Lamborghini SUV to cost at least 150,000+.
What do you guys think about Lamborghini expanding into an unknown target market? Do you think it will work or should they just stick to what they are good at?

Recently Coca-Cola has come up with a new way to promote their products. In Singapore one of their vending machines will give you a free bottle of Coca-Cola if you give the vending machine a hug. This is defiantly a different and inventive way to get their product out to the consumers.

Do you think that this type of advertisement will be successful? Do you think the company will lose more money on this advertisement than gain money? Do you think they should place hugging vending machines for Coca-Cola in the United States?
Although interesting I do not understand this form of advertising. I guess it gets people talking about the product but how is Coca-Cola supposed to make a profit off this? I feel this form of advertising would be abused in the US and therefore would not be successful. Very creative and I'm sure the pros at Coke now more than I do when it comes to their product strategies but I just don't understand this one...
